Camp News - February 2010 Ironman
Camp
Our February Noosa Tineli Performance
War Ironman camp comprised of 3-4
or 6 day packages.
Fifteen participants from around the
county with one international from
Hong Kong attended. Two campers were
traveling to Ironman China in March
with six lining up for Ironman Australia
in five weeks time.
Attending also were a number of potential
Ironman athletes just looking to get
some experience and see what the Ironman
is all about. Specialist clinics on
Nutrition, Sports Psychology, Yoga
and Body Maintenance were working
into the busy week of training.
A few of our local professional athletes
made appearances though the camp and
thank Andrew Johns, Lisbeth Kristiansen,
Belinda and Justin Grainger for their
input and worldly advise to the campers.
Another Long distance camp is planned
for the middle of October 2010.
